Government Description
Libby dam unit 6 installation involves installing generator unit 6 at libby dam, MT using government-furnished, brand name, and other purchased equipment, including testing and commissioning for commercial service. Includes disassembly of unit 6 turbine, unit alignment, commissioning support, retrofit of a 15KV outdoor HVR-63XS generator circuit breaker cubicle, design, fabrication, factory testing, and delivery of an excitation system, and design and furnishing of isolated phase bus and surge/pt cubicle. Additional tasks include digital governor plc retrofit and commissioning support, supply and installation of mechanical and piping systems, and performing work on unit 6 test stator sections, neutral current transformers, partial discharge analysis system, poles, collector rings, shaft, leads, brushes and brush rigging, and rotors. The contract also covers supply of generator circuit breaker, SF6 gas and regulator, and control cables.
