Government Description
This project will be to construct a 32,480 SF, two-story, three-company fire station building, to include four vehicle apparatus bays with twenty-one dorm rooms for an authorized personnel count of forty-four. The facility will also include administrative offices, dispatch, department and computer training rooms, fitness room, sauna, day room, laundry, and equipment maintenance and storage areas. Supporting work includes construction of access roads, parking areas for privately owned vehicles (POVS), circulation around the facility, landscaping, and connection to existing utilities such as water, sanitary sewage, natural gas, and electrical distribution systems. The project will also provide information systems, basic telephone, computer network connectivity, fiber optics, security and fire alarm systems.
