Government Description
Recapitalization of power generation plant and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), located on buckley AFB, CO. Includes construction of a holistic solution to recapitalize the existing medium voltage power generation and distribution system, expansion of the power plant to meet future load requirements, and demolition of the existing central power plant. Tasks involve replacement of medium voltage electrical power distribution systems via new underground duct banks, development of a SCADA controls system to serve as the backbone for the Facility Infrastructure Control System (FICS), installation of power distribution equipment such as transformers and switchgear, building automation materials, structural and architectural design, engineering services, device integration, neta testing, startup and commissioning of automatic transfer switches, fire alarm detection, sensors and transducers, fiber cable installation, general electrical work, and lightning protection equipment. Additional work includes construction management, steel testing and inspections, storage and delivery services, and site radios installation.
