Aptim Aecom Decommissioning, Alexandria, Virginia, was awarded a $42,861,305 hybrid (cost-plus-incentive-fee and firm-fixed-price) contract for decommissioning and disposal activities for the Stationary Medium Power Plant Number 1 Reactor Facility in Fort Belvoir. Bids were solicited via the internet with four received. Work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 1, 2025. Fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $42,861,305 were obligated at the time of the award.
