Pipestem spillway modification project. Includes construction of a stepped Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) spillway chute structure with an integrated three-stage labyrinth crest control structure, approach walls, and stilling basin to prevent spillway erosion. The project also involves dikes for flow training and flanking protection, lowering of the upstream spillway and approach channels by 6 to 8 feet, installation of drainage systems, excavation below elevation 1430, clearing and grubbing, tree planting, destructive RCC testing, dewatering well fouling remediation, soil cement aggregate placement, and terminal structure slide mitigation.
