Government Description
Two-phase design and construction of an Advanced Individual Training (AIT) complex at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Includes construction of a 24,000 SF 800-PERSON dining facility, a 10,900 SF battalion headquarters, a 90,000 SF enlisted barracks for 300 soldiers with attached Company Operations Facilities (COF) and covered training area, a 1,000 SF detached storage facility, a multipurpose training athletic field, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, and Energy Monitoring And Control System (EMCS) connection, with sustainability and energy enhancement measures. Additional work performed includes doors, frames, hardware, mechanical and plumbing, glass and glazing, landscaping, vault doors, signage, segmental retaining walls, light gauge trusses, drywall, ceilings, acoustical ceilings, construction phase cybersecurity services, roller window shades, geotechnical engineering, electrical, fire protection, sitework, site concrete, site improvements, elevator installation, test and balance, specialties and entrance mats, membrane and metal roofing, masonry, total building commissioning and air barrier testing, drywall finishing and painting, waterproofing, air barrier, expansion joints and joint sealants, design/engineering services, materials testing and inspections, aggregate pier ground improvements, hard tile, resilient and carpet flooring, eifs, operable partition walls, and door and hardware installation. The project also incorporates ufc 3-490-06, AR 190-11 requirements for arms vaults, hardscape removal, unforeseen item removal, and low-slope roofing adjustments.
