WEG ac maintenance hangar two-phase design-build of zone 3 WEG hq-maintenance hangar and apron facilities. Includes the design and construction of the 53RD Weapons Evaluation Group (WEG) headquarters, maintenance hangar, and aircraft parking apron at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. The project encompasses a consolidated hq facility with administrative, squadron operations, and emergency operations center spaces (including SCIF and sapf areas), a maintenance hangar for QF-16 and E-9 aircraft with 12 bays, armament research/testing lab, aircraft corrosion control facility, fuel systems maintenance dock, and a new aircraft parking apron with lighting. Supporting work includes all utilities, site improvements, special foundations, pavements, storm drainage, security enhancements, soil remediation, environmental permitting, and building systems such as cranes, hoists, cathodic protection, fireproofing, air barriers, and facility-related controls.
