Includes furnishing all planning, supervision, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and replacement parts necessary for the operation and maintenance of government-owned facilities and equipment for the black-warrior-tombigbee and Alabama river waterways project in Alabama. Tasks performed encompass maintenance and repair of buildings, structures, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and sewer systems, as well as recreation areas, docks, boat ramps, locks and dams, equipment and vehicles, power plants, and dredge material disposal areas. Additional services include custodial work, grass mowing, floating debris removal, and aid to navigation.

R&D Maintenance Services Inc., Tulsa, Oklahoma, was awarded a $39,987,597 hybrid (cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price) contract for the maintenance, repairs and minor construction of government-owned facilities and equipment. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Tusacaloosa, Alabama, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2026.
