Government Description
Construction of information system facility at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM. Includes building a state-of-the-art Information Systems Facility (ISF) and a communications center with redundant power, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and connection to the Energy Monitoring And Control System (EMCS). The project encompasses administrative offices, laboratory space, server farm area, enterprise storage systems, telephone switch room, secure operations center, customer support branch, nipr and sipr network data centers, Network Operations Center (NOC), Secure Room with Vault for Outside Plant (OSP), red NOC, communications security (COMSEC), Technical Support Network (TSN) data center, computer help desk, secure Video Teleconferencing Center (VTC), telecommunications center, reception, conference room, battery storage, break room, and restrooms. Additional work includes electrical redesigns, commissioning revisions, installation of cross connect frames, powerpoles and doors, UPS feeder, cable shroud assembly for generators, joist engineering, cabinet racking, screen wall height increase, cmu schedule, civil redesign, door hardware, high security locks, submersible pump, chemical termite control, indoor/outdoor cat 6 cabling, copper flashing, rerouting gas line, storm drain and manhole work, and incorporation of cyber security and sustainability measures.
