WORK PERFORMED INCLUDES ABATEMENT OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SUCH AS ASBESTOS AND BLACK MASTIC, DEMOLITION OF THE OLD WILFORD HALL MEDICAL CENTER AND ASSOCIATED SUPPORT BUILDINGS, REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF REGULATED MATERIALS, AND RELOCATION OF COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE. THE PROJECT ALSO ENCOMPASSES CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SURFACE PARKING, LANDSCAPED AREAS, STORM DRAINAGE AND DETENTION FEATURES, AND MODIFICATION OF ACCESS ROADS AND SITE UTILITIES AT LACKLAND AFB, JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO.
