Low observable component repair facility. This contract is for the construction of the F-22 Low Observable Component Repair Facility (LOCRF) at langley Air Force Base (AFB) in hampton, VA, which includes a 6,735-SQUARE-METER, four-bay high-bay facility (three low observable critical repair bays and one wash rack) to support maintenance of 38 additional F-22A aircraft. Includes site preparation with compacted fill above the 100-YEAR flood plain, reinforced concrete foundations, structural steel framing, concrete masonry unit facade, standing seam metal roof, utilities, site improvements, pavements, security enhancements, and supporting systems such as air filtration, fire protection and suppression, and climate control. The facility provides spaces for corrosion control maintenance, wash rack operations, shops, tool/support areas, staff administration, restrooms/showers/lockers, and electrical/mechanical/telecommunications support, and is designed to meet seismic, wind, anti-terrorism, and Department of Defense unified facilities criteria requirements.
