Aug 2016: L-3 Communications Corp. (Linkabit Division), San Diego, California, was awarded an $11,226,214 cost-plus-incentive-fee contract for screening obscuration module system integration and demonstration base period and production options.  Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received. Work will be performed in Melbourne, Florida, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 26, 2020.  Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $1,210,000 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W911SR-16-C-0039).
