EAR063 EARECKSON FUEL LONG TERM PIER REPAIRS. INCLUDES DESIGN AND LONG-TERM REPAIR OF THE FUEL PIER AT EARECKSON AIR STATION, SHEMYA, ALASKA, WHICH WAS DAMAGED DURING A LARGE STORM IN FEBRUARY 2020. THE PROJECT INVOLVES REPLACEMENT OR REFURBISHMENT OF THE EXISTING FUEL PIER, ARMORING OF THE ADJACENT WESTERN SHORELINE, AND MAY REQUIRE MARINE MAMMAL OBSERVATION PROTOCOLS AND POSSIBLE UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE (UXO) CLEARING IF BEACH LANDING OR ANCHORING IS NEEDED DURING CONSTRUCTION. ADDITIONAL TASKS INCLUDE DESIGN SERVICES, CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES, AND ENGINEERING SERVICES.

Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Shemya, Alaska, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 24, 2026. Fiscal 2022 Defense Logistics Agency funds and operation and maintenance, Air Force funds in the amount of $176,701,106 were obligated at the time of the award.
