Honeywell International, Tucson, Arizona, was awarded a $16,523,132 firm-fixed-price Foreign Military Sales (Kuwait and Saudi Arabia) contract for the production of the J7 Digital Electronic Control Unit for the Abrams family of vehicles. Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, with an estimated completion date of June 28, 2024. Fiscal 2017 and 2019 foreign military sales, Army working capital and procurement of weapons and tracked combat vehicles, Army funds in the combined amount of $16,523,132 were obligated at the time of the award.
