Government Description
White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) Mission Support Services (MSS) provides comprehensive engineering support services to the White Sands Test Center (WSTC) in support of experimentation, testing, research, assessment, development, and training related to national security. The contractor delivers personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other resources necessary for engineering support, fabrication services, ammunition supply point management, and open-air operations support for both day-of-test and non-day-of-test activities. Additional tasks include specialized facility support (such as environmental test chambers and high energy laser systems test facility), mrtfb test capabilities (including electronic attack test capability and large blast thermal simulator mission support), quality control plan development, emergency action planning, and telework plan development for operational continuity. Work is primarily performed at WSMR, with potential for additional locations within CONUS and OCONUS as required by mission needs.
