Title
SOFTwarfareÆs Zero Trust IdentityÖ Platform: AI/ML Enabled User and Entity Behavior Analysis
Abstract
We propose the integration of SOFTwarfare's PangaeAPI platform, a cybersecurity solution employing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for User and Entity Behavioral Analysis (UEBA). This platform will analyze extensive datasets previously collected and normalized within tactical networks, identifying deviations in user behavior to assign risk scores and initiate alerts for human intervention. This approach meets the Army's requirements for a UEBA system that acts as a dynamic policy decision point, leveraging existing data to enhance security and facilitate informed actions based on real-time risk assessments. Our proposed enhancement of PangaeAPI platform focuses on providing a sophisticated UEBA system designed as a critical policy decision point. It leverages pre-existing, normalized datasets to detect behavioral anomalies and evaluate risks, offering real-time notifications for any alterations in risk profiles. This functionality ensures that the personnel can promptly respond to potential threats by either terminating questionable sessions or subjecting them to deeper analysis, thus reinforcing the tactical network's defense mechanisms and optimizing the authentication process within the ambit of a Zero Trust architecture. SOFTwarfare LLC is a Kansas-based cybersecurity software pioneer specializing in authentication and Zero-Trust architecture that delivers privacy-based event driven authentication and authorization through multimodal biometric authentication and high-security integrations.
Research Objective
The goal of phase I is to establish the technical merit, feasibility, and commercial potential of proposed R&D efforts and determine the quality of performance of the small business awardee organization.
