Government Description
Construct security building at the 117TH air refueling wing - project number BRKR009063. The work consists of constructing a new 9,941 square foot security building for the base’s security forces squadron, including slab on grade undercut/pad preparation, load bearing cmu walls, premanufactured light gauge steel trusses, metal roof decking, and standing seam metal roof systems. The facility will feature clay masonry and cast stone exterior finishes, steel reinforced aluminum curtain wall window systems meeting ufc 4-010-01 anti-terrorism/force protection requirements, a mechanical platform, interior painted cmu and gypsum board wall assemblies, and installation of telecommunications infrastructure and cabling for unclassified communications systems. The project includes installation of sole source/brand name items for compatibility with existing systems: kmc HVAC system’s direct digital controls, Monaco fire alarm, stanley best access systems locks, and advantor Air Force/NGB certified security system.
