Government Description
The strategic and operational rockets and missiles (STORM) project office in support of high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS) and Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). This award provides maintenance and operational support for the HIMARS and MLRS launcher test fleet, including maintenance of special test and auxiliary equipment and support for miscellaneous test fleet equipment. The contractor is responsible for housing, maintaining, and upgrading spare parts and other assets at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM; redstone arsenal, AL; and grand prairie, TX.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded a $52,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract for maintaining and operating and configuration of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, Multiple Launch Rocket System Launcher Fleet, and the respective repair parts storage and distribution center.
