The contractor is responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing and production process, including supply chain management, logistics, parts forecasting, long-lead parts procurement, material forecasting, addressing obsolescence issues, and final delivery of assets. Recurring and nonrecurring engineering services associated with becoming a qualified source are also required.
