Government Description
Utility service contract for privatization of the electric distribution system at eglin AFB, FL. Work performed includes the ownership, operation, maintenance, repair, upgrade, and improvement of the electric distribution system, including expansions to meet future needs, and the provision of continuous, adequate, and dependable electric utility service for all government and tenant connections within the service area. Tasks also include funding and execution of capital investments, correction of system deficiencies, installation of new infrastructure such as overhead guy poles and transformers, system mapping upgrades, database development, installation of scada and fault indicators, and make-ready work for electric vehicle charging stations. The contractor is responsible for all labor, management, supervision, permits, equipment, supplies, materials, and transportation required for the complete provision of electric utility services at eglin AFB.
