Government Description
Utility service contract for privatization of the water and wastewater utility system infrastructure at Fort Polk, Louisiana. The contractor assumes ownership, operation, maintenance, and repair of the previously government-owned water and wastewater utility systems, including the potable water distribution and wastewater collection infrastructure. Work performed includes capital improvement projects such as installation and repair of water and sewer services, upgrades to water mains, installation of backflow preventers, construction and operation of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPS), installation of water meters, and implementation of filtration systems. The contractor is also responsible for ongoing utility distribution services, emergency upgrades, right-of-way clearing, and system enhancements to ensure reliable water and wastewater services at Fort Polk.
