Trimark Constructors LLC,* Metairie, Louisiana, is being awarded an $8,739,400 firm-fixed-price contract to replace the Squadron Operations Facility at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans. The project will include demolition of the old facility and construction of the new facility. The contract also contains 13 unexercised options and one planned modification, which if exercised would increase cumulative contract value to $10,286,550. Work will be performed in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is expected to be completed by August 2019. Fiscal 2016 military construction (Air National Guard) contract funds in the amount of $8,739,400 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with seven proposals received.
