Abstract
White River Technologies, Inc. proposes this effort to addresses the need for accurate navigation of Naval unmanned underwater vehicle (UUVs) assets without reliance on global positioning system (GPS) technology. Our work will utilize a combination of existing navigation algorithmic modules and extensive experience with geophysical-based location, mapping, and sensor fusion specifically for UUVs. The proposed research and development will provide an enabling technology to accompany the Navy's development, procurement, and utilization of UUVs in the coming decades.
Research Objective
The goal of phase I is to establish the technical merit, feasibility, and commercial potential of proposed R&D efforts and determine the quality of performance of the small business awardee organization.
