FY20 mcaf PAF180200 asia pacific resiliency jet fuel storage tanks, royal australian Air Force base tindal, Australia. Includes the construction (DESIGN-BID-BUILD) of two 4 ml (25,000 bbl each) cut-and-cover bulk fuel tanks, support infrastructure such as two pump houses, a liquid fuel truck fill stand, fuel unloading stand, and filter building, as well as all utilities, automatic tank gauging systems, site improvements, pavements, communications infrastructure, backup generator, and other work necessary to provide a complete and usable facility at raaf base tindal. Additional work includes installation of aviation grade fuel hoses, epoxy-coated iron automatic air vents, protective termite sheeting, exterior painting of the filter building and pump houses, generator supply piping, filter separator piping, prt recirculation line, kiosk fire extinguisher, tundishes, exhaust power fan, additional fencing, fiber optic routing and terminations, and upgrades to the transformer and power distribution system to meet miee australian standards. The project also covers fueling equipment, pipe and fittings, fueling system start-up and commissioning, and installation of bolts, nuts, washers, and related components.

Nova Nacap JV, Napa, California, is awarded an $80,407,700 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of jet fuel storage tanks at Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base Tindal. The work to be performed provides for the construction of two bulk fuel storage tanks, aircraft liquid fuel truck fill stand, fuel unloading stand, pump houses, and filter building. The contract also includes two option items that are being exercised at time of award. Work will be performed at Katherine, Australia, and is expected to be completed by February 2025. Fiscal 2020 military construction (Air Force) funds in the amount of $80,407,700 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with three offers received.
