May 2022:
Insight Pacific LLC,* Brea, California, is awarded a $8,858,111 firm-fixed-price task order (N6247822F4150) under previously-awarded contract for safety improvement to Dry Docks (DD) 1 - 4 at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The work to be performed provides for various safety repairs to DD 1 - 4 to provide safe working environments for personnel working in the dry docks and pump well facilities. Work will be performed at Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by February 2024. Fiscal 2022 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $8,858,111 will be obligated at time of award, and funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under the previously awarded design-build/design-bid-build small business multiple-award construction contract, with four offers received.
