Military construction P-118 taxiway and apron upgrades Naval Air Station (NAS) sigonella Italy. Includes demolition and replacement of existing asphalt and concrete airfield pavements on parking aprons designated as PAA-1, PAA-2, PAA-3, PAA-3A, and FL-3 (58,914 SM), As Well As the Current Parking Apron Area Formerly Designated Taxiway F, Tf-1 (15,421 SM). All new apron pavements will incorporate grounding points and tie downs for aircraft, and the project also selectively repairs adjacent asphalt shoulders of aprons scheduled for replacement to support the projected P-8A, C-17, and C-5 aircraft missions at NAS sigonella.

Environmental Chemical Corp.,* Burlingame, California, is awarded a $20,291,410 firm-fixed-price contract for taxiway and apron upgrades. This contract provides for the repair and upgrade of existing airfield pavement to support the P-8A mission at Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy. Work will be performed at Sigonella, Italy, and will be completed by November 2025. Fiscal 2019 military construction funds in the amount of $20,291,410 will be obligated at time of award.
