Government Description
Critical repairs to C4I building. Includes major electrical upgrades such as critical electrical distribution, generator(S) replacement, grounding ring installation, UPS replacement, and installation of surge protection; elevator replacement; chiller replacements; HVAC upgrades; fire protection upgrades including isolation valves and emergency electrical disconnects; and the demolition, movement, and construction of restrooms. The project is phased, with initial renovations to sections of a Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) for temporary office space, installation of a temporary modular workspace, and replacement of elevators, followed by electrical and mechanical upgrades, removal of the modular workspace, restroom renovations, and further mechanical, electrical, and fire protection upgrades. Tenants will relocate at the beginning and end of each phase to accommodate construction activities.

Conti Federal Services Inc., Edison, New Jersey, is awarded a $30,333,211 firm-fixed-price contract for the repair, reconfiguration, and modernization of various buildings at Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy. The work to be performed consists of major electrical upgrades, elevator replacement, chiller replacements, and fire protection upgrades. Work will be performed in Naples, Italy, and is expected to be completed by April 2024. Fiscal 2018 military construction (Navy); and fiscal 2021 operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $30,333,211 are obligated on this award, of which $29,280,708 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
