Detyens Shipyards Inc., North Charleston, South Carolina, is awarded a $16,485,523 firm-fixed-price contract (N3220522C2052) for a 70-calendar day shipyard availability for the mid-term availability of Military Sealift Command’s fleet replenishment oiler USNS Patuxent (T-AO 201). This contract includes a base period and three options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $16,657,623. Work will be performed in North Charleston, South Carolina, beginning Oct. 3, 2022, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 11, 2022. Fiscal 2023 working capital (Navy) funds in the amount of $16,485,523 are obligated and will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. This contract was a small business set-aside with proposals solicited via the Government Point of Entry website and two offers received.
