Hornbeck Offshore Operators LLC, Covington, Louisiana, is awarded a $7,510,000 firm-fixed-price contract with reimbursable elements for long-term charter of one U.S. flagged offshore support ship, HOS Red Rock, which will provide support for Navy operations-at-sea. This contract includes a 12-month base period with three 12-month option periods, and one 11-month option period which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $39,702,000. Work will be performed worldwide and is expected to be completed, if all options are exercised, by March 14, 2026. Operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $7,510,000 are obligated for fiscal 2021 and will expire at the end of the fiscal year.
