Government Description
NSWCDD-DNA CORPORATE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT. THIS EFFORT INCLUDES THE PRODUCTION OF BUILD-TO-PRINT AN/SPQ-15(V) DATA DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM (DDS) HARDWARE, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, SYSTEM INTEGRATION AND TEST, AND SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE, AS WELL AS COMBAT SYSTEM ENGINEERING AGENT (CSEA) SERVICES. THE AN/SPQ-15(V) DDS DISTRIBUTES RADAR VIDEO DATA OVER AN OPEN ARCHITECTURE LAN TO OPEN ARCHITECTURE COMPUTER ENVIRONMENT (OACE) COMPLIANT AND LEGACY DISPLAY CONSOLES, UTILIZING RADAR INTERFACE MODULES (RIM), DISPLAY INTERFACE MODULES (DIM), AND IFF INTERFACE MODULES (IIM) FOR DATA CONVERSION AND DISTRIBUTION. THE SYSTEM SUPPORTS REAL-TIME RADAR VIDEO SCAN CONVERSION, MULTICAST DATA DISTRIBUTION, AND INTERFACES WITH BOTH MODERN AND LEGACY NAVY RADAR AND IFF EQUIPMENT.
