Dec 2022: SGL Composites Inc., Gardena, California, is awarded a $9,343,506 cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract N0017820C2400 for Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile heatshields and thermal protection system materials and components. Work will be performed in Gardena, California; and is expected to be completed by November 2023. Fiscal 2022 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $706,089 (7%); and Foreign Military Sales (United Kingdom) funds in the amount of $2,958,218 (32%) will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
