Provides support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) code 33, including in-service engineering, inspection and testing, material assessments and compliance, material studies and analyses, environmental analyses and compliance, ship systems hardening, machinery controls analysis, machinery systems integration, machinery research and development, logistics integration and analyses, and technical manual ise updates. Additional tasks include attending production meetings, performing risk analyses, conducting testing, reviewing and updating engineering documentation, conducting maintenance surveys and engineering investigations, maintaining and configuring hm&E systems, supporting repair and installation of environmental equipment, updating fastener requirements, evaluating metals and alloys, and performing laboratory evaluations of fuels, lubricants, and hydraulic fluids to assess machinery performance.
