PMS 408 also fulfills Navy crew (counter radio-controlled improvised explosive device electronic warfare) tools and equipment requirements, and manages and executes selected crew programs in the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Operations & Support (O&S) phases of acquisition for all of DOD per DOD directive 5101.14.
