Government Description
Special mission systems support provides non-personal services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in support of the in-service engineering agent (ISEA) and depot projects within the special mission systems division. Includes development of hardware and software products from prototypes to production-representative systems, integration and evaluation of externally produced items, production and sustainment of deployable systems, overhaul and technology refresh of fielded systems, fabrication, assembly, testing, evaluation, parts procurement, repair management, and inspection of hardware/software components. The contractor also develops data deliverables such as analyses of alternatives, feasibility studies, technical data packages, quality assurance procedures, and objective quality evidence generation, and provides support for maritime special projects, unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVS), Seal Delivery Vehicle (SDV), Shallow Water Combat Submersible (SWCS), Dry Combat Submersible (DCS), and surface mobility craft Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM). Responsibilities include securing materials for spares and repairs as well as program management.
