Dec 2025: Raytheon Missile and Defense, Tucson, Arizona, was awarded a $146,205,116 firm-fixed-price contract to procure material, fabricate parts, assemble, test, and deliver Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) Block 2B Guided Missile Round Pack. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $275,998,032. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (58%) and the Government of Japan (42%) under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. Work will be performed in, Ottobrunn, Germany (42%); Tucson, Arizona (31%); Keyser, West Virginia (11%); Glenrothes Fife, Great Britan (10%); Cincinnati, Ohio (1%), and various other U.S. locations each under 1% (5%) and is expected to be completed by July 2028. If all options are exercised, work will continue through February 2030.  Fiscal 2026 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $84,685,496 (58%); and FMS (Japan) funds in the amount of $61,519,619 (42%) were obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 3204(a) (4), International Agreement. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-26-C-5403). This action was awarded on Dec. 19, 2025.
