Government Description
MH PDS Production. The Minehunting (MH) Payload Delivery System (PDS) supports the U.S. Navy's mine countermeasures unmanned surface vehicle (MCM USV) program by providing structural, power, and communications interfaces to the an/AQS-20C via a towed cable and the mcm usv. The MH PDS enables integration between the mcm usv and payload deployment, retrieval, and maneuvering tasks in both shallow and deep-water environments, and is produced in accordance with a build to print Technical Data Package (TDP).

Nov 2024: Raytheon Co., Poulsbo, Washington, is awarded a $22,354,009 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost contract for production of mine hunt payload delivery system production and engineering support. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $28,452,471. Work will be performed in Poulsbo, Washington (77%); and Portsmouth, Rhode Island (23%), and is expected to be completed by December 2026. Fiscal 2025 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $16,365,184 will be obligated at time of award, of which none will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-25-C-6303).
