Sep 2023: Huntington Ingalls Industries, Unmanned Systems, Pocasset, Massachusetts, is awarded a $19,826,155 firm-fixed-price contract for Lionfish Small Unmanned Undersea Vehicle production, training, and engineering support. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $347,861,058. Work will be performed in Pocasset, Massachusetts (99%); and Hampton, Virginia (1%), and would conclude at the end of September 2024. If all options are exercised, work will continue through September 2028. Fiscal 2023 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $16,155,801 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 4022. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-23-C-6308).
