Government Description
FY23 engineering design development. Supports engineering design development and production of Technology Insertion (TI)-24 and TI-26 Total Ship Monitoring System (TSMS) hardware and software systems, technical insertion kits, trainers, and associated spares for Los Angeles, Virginia, and columbia class submarines as part of the Acoustic - Rapid COTS Insertion (A-RCI) upgrades. Includes engineering design development, production, installation support, in-service support, and technology enhancements such as server/hard drive updates and infrastructure improvements for TSMS systems or upgrade kits. TSMS provides upgraded signal processing capability to monitor and localize submarine noise sources and is a subsystem of the an/BQQ-10 submarine Acoustic – Rapid COTS Insertion (A-RCI) program. The work includes engineering design development and production of TI-24 and TI-26 TSMS hardware and software systems, technical insertion kits, trainers, and associated spares, as well as installation support, in-service support, and technology enhancements such as server/hard drive updates and infrastructure baselines like switches and cabling to support fleet requirements for software and hardware production improvements on TSMS systems or upgrade kits.
