Ima & PDLR support for nstf yorktown. This award provides maintenance services for submarine-launched Heavy Weight Torpedoes (HWT) mk 48 MOD 6, MOD 6 advanced common torpedo (ACOT), and MOD 7 Common Broadband Advanced Sonar System (CBASS) warshot and exercise variants at the naval submarine torpedo facility (NAVSUBTORPFAC) in yorktown, VA. Includes operating the Progressive Depot Level Repair (PDLR) facility, conducting test equipment maintenance and repair, torpedo assembly and testing, providing engineering management services, and supporting supply, quality assurance, and facility infrastructure. Additional tasks include maintaining the technical publication library, conducting process control quality verification at the component and final assembly level, performing operational and quality system audits, developing and analyzing ima metrics, and supporting various torpedo maintenance actions such as conversions, reliability evaluations, verifications, backhaul maintenance, cosmetic repair, and software changes.

Jul 2025:
Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., McLean Virginia, is awarded a $7,558,892 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-23-C-6110) to exercise year two options for operation of the progressive depot level repair facility and torpedo maintenance and support at the Navy Submarine Torpedo Facility in support of the MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo efforts. Work will be performed in Yorktown, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by July 2026. Fiscal 2025 operation and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $3,745,750 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
