MK20 EOSS MOD 1. Includes production of the mk 20 Electro-Optical Sensor System (EOSS), spares, and engineering/technical services for the United States Navy (USN), United States Coast Guard (USCG), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) ships, with integration into the gun weapon system to support surface activities. Tasks performed under this award include procurement and delivery of mk 20 EOSS units, radar cross section kits, installation and checkout, onboard repair parts kits, engineering support, depot spares, shock isolation assembly kits, heat shield kits, thermal image sensors, and eye-safe laser range finders. Additional work involves the supply of components such as Connectors, Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies, Guide Actuators, Optics (Lenses, Windows, Beamsplitter Compensators), Bearings, Servo Drives, Optical Instruments, Circuit Breakers, Ethernet Switches, Custom Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAS), fans, slip rings, servers, automatic video trackers, dual axis fiber optic gyro assemblies, and various high and moderate tolerance machined and fabricated parts. The contract also covers rapid prototyping, shipping containers, and precision industrial slides and components for the MK20 EOSS MOD 1 and related configurations.

Oct 2021: L-3Harris Technologies Inc., Northampton, Massachusetts, was awarded an $18,420,649 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost only contract for the procurement of MK 20 electro-optical sensor systems (EOSS), radar cross section kits, installation and checkout and on board repair parts kits, engineering support services, and depot spares. The MK 20 EOSS Mod 1 is employed by the DDG 51 Class, CG 47 Class, and the Coast Guard offshore patrol cutters. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $54,197,407. Work will be performed in Northampton, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed by September 2024. If all options are exercised, work will continue through September 2028.
