Government Description
LPD PY contract award. This contract provides Planning Yard (PY) support for operational (IN-SERVICE) LPD-17, LHD-1, LHA-6, LCC-19/20, and LSD-44/49 class ships, including ship installation drawings development, ship checks, liaison action records, damage control, bill of material, on-site technical support, ship change document updates, configuration data management, engineering and modeling, provisioning technical documentation, and interface with regional maintenance centers and fleet entities. Additional work includes design alteration and modification development, managing ship selected records, material procurement and kitting for modernization installations, and providing technical support during chief of naval operations availabilities at multiple locations. The contract also covers program management, integrated planning yard material support, and maintaining automated systems for inventory and data management in accordance with Navy Modernization Process Management And Operations Manual (NMP MOM).
