General Dynamics, National Steel and Shipbuilding Co., San Diego, California, is being awarded a $24,161,138 cost-plus-award-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee, with firm-fixed-priced and cost-only components contract for littoral combat ships (LCS) sustainment execution in support of LCSs homeported in or visiting San Diego, California. This sustainment execution contract is for both LCS variants. The company will be to provide planned maintenance, facility maintenance, execution planning, accomplishment of Chief of Naval Operations availabilities, emergent and continuous maintenance, fly-away support and engineering support. This contract includes two options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $96,338,503. Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by April 2016. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $6,138,041 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
