General Dynamics Ordinance and Tactical Systems, Williston, Vermont, is being awarded an $8,656,220 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract N00024-13-C-5113 to provide procurement funding for one MK 82 director and MK 200 director controller system ship set of the Missile Fire Control System MK 99 equipment, and associated engineering services. Work will be performed in Saco, Maine, and is expected to be completed by February 2019. Fiscal 2016 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $8,656,220 will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.
May 2017: General Dynamics - Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Williston, Vermont, is being awarded a $40,815,838 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-13-C-5113) for the production of Missile Fire Control System MK 82 director/MK 200 director controller equipment, and associated engineering services. This contract modification supports and delivers fully functionally tested Missile Fire Control System MK 82/MK 200 ship sets without adverse impact to scheduled ship deployment requirements for operational use. These components are part of the Missile Fire Control System MK99 framework which is a critical component of the Aegis Weapon System. This contract modification combines purchases for the governments of the Republic of Korea (60 percent); and Japan (40 percent), under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Saco, Maine, and is expected to be completed by December 2021. Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $40,815,838 will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
