Huntington Ingalls Inc., Newport News, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,498,137 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-13-C-2112) to continue work related to the inactivation of aircraft carrier Enterprise (CVN 65). This modification increases the level of effort under the existing contract to perform radiological work. Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by July 2017. Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $7,498,137 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, Newport News, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
