Government Description
Radio Full Rate Production (FRP). Includes the production and delivery of modernized radios for the Navy, Marine Corps, office of the secretary of defense, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Associated engineering support is provided to calibrate and maintain special test equipment during production. Additional tasks include redesigning the modernized radio to mitigate parts obsolescence, conducting studies and analyses for possible upgrades, and procuring components such as fpga microcircuits, mechanical covers, hybrid dc-dc converters, mechanical frames, housings, shipping containers, crystal oscillator hybrids, printed wire boards, bandpass filters, isolators, and flex circuits.
