Dec 2019: Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., San Diego, California, is awarded a $22,471,211 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide engineering, cyber security, system software, logistics and training services in support of the MQ-8 Fire Scout Unmanned Air Systems.  Work will be performed at San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed in December 2020.  Fiscal 2020 aircraft procurement; and operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $13,778,236 will be obligated at time of award, $7,999,858 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-20-C-0025).
