ST/STE. THIS AWARD IS FOR THE ACQUISITION AND DELIVERY OF SPECIAL TOOLING AND TEST EQUIPMENT (STATE) TO SUPPORT THE F-35 LIGHTNING II PRODUCTION LINE, INCLUDING FULL RATE AND LOW RATE INITIAL PRODUCTION, INITIAL SPARES, REPLENISHMENT SPARES, MODIFICATIONS, AND RETROFIT DEMAND FOR THE U.S. AIR FORCE, NAVY, MARINE CORPS, NON-U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE (DOD) PARTICIPANTS, AND FOREIGN MILITARY SALES (FMS) CUSTOMERS. INCLUDES THE DESIGN, FABRICATION, AND INSTALLATION OF SPECIAL TOOLING, SPECIAL TEST EQUIPMENT, MANUFACTURING SUPPORT EQUIPMENT, LM STAR STATIONS, UPGRADE KITS, AND UNIQUE PRODUCTION NON-RECURRING (PNR) SOFTWARE, AS WELL AS THE PROVISION OF PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SUPPORT FOR STATE UNIQUE SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS AND AIR VEHICLE DELIVERY SCHEDULES. THE EFFORT ALSO COVERS PROCUREMENT OF ADVANCED TOOLING FOR BLOCK 4 CAPABILITIES, ELECTRONIC WARFARE, MULTI-CHANNEL TRANSMISSION RECEIVER CUT-INS, DRAG CHUTE TOOLING, SECOND SOURCE CANOPY TOOLING, AND VARIOUS FIXTURES, GAUGES, MANDRELS, MOLDS, ASSEMBLY CARTS, BURN-IN BOARDS, AND TEST STATIONS REQUIRED FOR F-35 AIR VEHICLE AND COMPONENT MANUFACTURING, INTEGRATION, AND TESTING.
