DOD Announcements

Sep 2014: Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $60,000,000 modification to the previously awarded Lot IX F-35 Lightening II Joint Strike Fighter advance acquisition contract (N00019-14-C-0002) to procure long lead parts, materials and components in support of the procurement of four additional F-35A Air Systems for the government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in February 2015. Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $60,000,000 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
