Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy) funds in the amount of $137,834,819 are being obligated on this award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification combines purchases for the Air Force ($110,267,856; 80 percent); Marine Corps ($22,554,788; 16.4 percent); and the Navy ($5,012,175 (3.6 percent). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
Mar 2022: Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is awarded a $15,368,468 modification (P00101) to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N0001914C0002). This modification increases the scope to procure diminishing manufacturing sources to complete additional non-recurring engineering for the Communications, Navigation, and Identification system redesign, including disabling the Mode 4 function, certifying the Identification Friend or Foe hardware, certifying the Link-16 Electromagnetic Compatibility, certifying the Telecommunications Electronics Material Protected from Emanating Spurious Transmissions, and certifying the Ultra High Frequency/Very High Frequency Waveform for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in January 2025. Fiscal 2020 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $6,297,124; fiscal 2020 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $6,297,123; and non-U.S. Department of Defense participant funds in the amount of $2,774,221 will be obligated at the time of award, $12,594,247 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
