Jun 2015: Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut, is being awarded a $38,838,189 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-06-C-0081) for the procurement of critical parts and associated support for two CH-53K system demonstration test article aircraft. The critical parts include forgings, castings, cores, beams, blocks for assemblies, frames, skins, spars and fitting assemblies. Work will be performed in Stratford, Connecticut (16 percent); Salt Lake City, Utah (12 percent); Bridgeport, West Virginia (12 percent); Wichita, Kansas (9 percent); Longueil, Quebec, Canada (8 percent); Cudahy, Wisconsin (8 percent); St. Louis, Missouri (6 percent); Redmond, Washington (5 percent); Irvine, California (4 percent); Los Angeles, California (3 percent); Windsor Locks, Connecticut (3 percent); Ft. Walton Beach, Florida (2 percent); Jackson, Mississippi (2 percent); Titchfield, Hampshire, United Kingdom (1 percent); Creston, Iowa (1 percent); San Diego, California (1 percent); Downers Grove, Illinois (1 percent); Paramount, California (1 percent); South Gate, California (1 percent); Phoenix, Arizona (1 percent); Cheshire, Connecticut (1 percent); and various locations within the continental U.S. (2 percent).
